I.
Mr. Harry K. Wong, the educational speaker of the seminar entitled "The Effective Teacher" mentioned that there are four (4) stages of teaching which is fantasy, survival, mastery and impact. As teachers, we shouldn't be satisfied in reaching the fantasy and survival stage rather we need to strive harder to reach the mastery and impact stage. Our purpose is not only to share our knowledge to our students but also to touch their lives and unleash their full potential. Also, Mr. Wong added the three (3) characteristics of an effective teacher and these are; has positive expectations for students' success, good classroom manager, and knows how to design lessons for students' mastery. With these characteristics, teaching and learning process will be effective.

II.
The seminar is relevant in my present course, personal growth, and professional growth because it serves as my compass. It gives me direction to what I should be when I enter the field few years from now. Mr. Wong provided different strategies to become an effective teacher which I can use in my own classroom. As teacher we can break or make our students' future so we need to do our best to make learning and teaching process more effective.

III.
Mr. Wong stated that we need to be the best and biggest burglars of knowledge, skills and techniques in teaching. Today, I will start to invest my time in getting the knowledge, skills and techniques to become an effective teacher. Being a special education teacher is very challenging because we will meet different children with different strengths, behavior, and learning style so this time of age I need to hone my skills to become an effective teacher. I will apply everything I learned from Mr. Wong when I finally enter the field of teaching.

IV.
I will impart my knowledge to my fellow pre-service teacher by encouraging them to become an effective teacher. I can share my ideas by making simple heart to heart talks with them. I will support and motivate them throughout our journey to become an effective special education teacher.

V.
"An Effective Teacher affects lives", as teachers we need to touch the lives of our students. We don't just impart our knowledge but also we need to touch their hearts. We should be the one who encouraging and motivating our students to strive harder in life. We will be the light in their journey toward success.
